Nikon Coolpix Bridge Camera

For our opening clip we decided to use Nikon Coolpix Bridge Camera. The camera offers a HD video of 1080p which will make sure our video is of good quality. The video is very simple as all you have to do I use the one-touch Movie Record button on the rear of the camera. By pressing this button, you can start recording a clip no matter what shooting mode you are in. In use, we found that zooming in or out sometimes caused the image to go temporarily out of focus, but the AF system usually adjusted itself very quickly in these cases. Despite this we are not planning on using the zoom option.

GE DV1 video recorder.

GE DV1GE’s DV1  is the camera that is offered by our school, even though we are not  planning on using it, it is helpful that if anything goes wrong we can use this video recorder as our back-up. In case any problems occur to the camcorder, the company claims it’s waterproof to five metres and can survive a 1.5-metre drop. The GE DV1  is a neat soap bar design, it can hold up to 32GB. the camera is simple and easy to use as you control it through a directional touchpad and a simple menu system, and there are shortcuts for filming, playback and deleting videos. It allows you to record in 1080p, or 720p.
