Walt Disney Pictures
Walt Disney Pictures is probably the most famous film institution out of all the major movie studious, founded in 1928, i'm pretty sure every child would recognise the institution as everyone grows up with the well known name 'Disney' throughout their childhood, and now it will always be stuck in their head. We also know the studio because of the famous founder - Walt Disney. Disney traditionally specialises in family movies and animation such as the classics, 'Sleeping Beauty' and 'The Jungle Book' to the more recent 'Cars', 'Wreck-it Ralph' and 'Up', but Walt Disney Pictures have been expanding more into live action. They also own an a vast amount of film institutions such as: Touchstone Pictures, Pixar, Marvel, and most recently Lucasfilm. Through these companies Disney manages to get a huge amount of money, and it is a big factor in their success.
